DRESS CODE
Members are requested to ensure that guests are informed of the following standards:
Members of the Club are required to uphold, at all times, a high standard of dress in the Club’s premises. The wearing of a jacket and tie is encouraged. Minimum standards:
- Gentlemen: Tailored trousers, long sleeve collared business shirt.
Ladies: Smart casual attire appropriate to the dress requirement of the gentlemen.
It is the Club’s intention to ensure that Members and guests feel comfortable within the Club, however overwhelming feedback from Members favours a professional dress code. The following are not acceptable:
- Denim, shorts, short sleeved shirts, casual shirts, runners and boatshoes.
Please remember to advise guests of the dress standards to avoid any embarrassment. Thank you.
MOBILE PHONES
It is requested that Member and guest phones be turned to “silent” or “off” when entering the Club and that if a Member or guest needs to answer a call to move to either the Club Lounge or front door reception area and answer the call discreetly, taking care not to impinge on the quiet enjoyment of other Members and guests. Thank you.
GUESTS
Members are permitted to invite guests into the Club at any time, although their names must be entered into the Visitors Book located at the Concierge Desk in the foyer. There is a limit of three guests per visit, guests must remain with the Member, and Members are responsible for the payment of guest charges. Please note, per the bi-laws, Members’ guests (other than spouse) are expected to lodge their own membership application if they come as a guest more than three times in a calendar year.
